Mike Lawson - General Manager
Born and raised in Southeastern Idaho, Mike and his wife, Sheralee, started Henry’s Fork Anglers in 1976. They sold the business in 1999 to Mark Rockefeller. Mike continued to manage Henry’s Fork Anglers for the next three years. Since then Mark has asked him to stay on as General Manager where he oversees both Henry’s Fork Anglers and our sister business, South Fork Outfitters where Mike’s son, Shaun, manages the operation. In addition to his duties with the fly shops, Mike also conducts fly fishing seminars at sports shows and fly fishing groups. He also writes articles for fly fishing publications. He is currently a contributing editor for Fly Fisherman Magazine and his latest book, Spring Creeks, is hot off the press. Mike also works as a consultant for several fly fishing companies including Sage, Scientific Anglers, and Action Optics.

Matt Lyons - Manager
Matt first worked for Henry's Fork Anglers during the Summer of 1999. He spent two seasons working in the shop while attending Utah State University. In 2001, he graduated from USU with a degree in Business Management. That spring, he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, to help open and operate Las Vegas Fly fishing. Matt returned to work for us full time in February 2004. He's excited to rejoin the team here at Henry's Fork Anglers. In addition to his retail experience, he spent several years working as a commercial fly tyer. He is also very experienced at rod building and many other facets of fly fishing. His other main interests include upland game hunting and ornamental fish keeping.

Chris Lawson - Assistant Manager
Chris is the youngest son of Mike and Sheralee Lawson. Born and raised in St. Anthony, Idaho (and at Henry's Fork Anglers), he grew up fishing the Henry's Fork with his father. Chris is also an accomplished waterfowl, upland bird and turkey hunter. Chris has been guiding full time since 2002. He is an accomplished guide and has a reputation for getting his clients into fish. He is very familiar with the South Fork of the Snake River, Henry's Fork, and Madison. He loves guiding anyone serious about learning to fly fish and is an excellent teacher.

Mick Hope
Mick started fishing the area in the early 70’s and for the last 15 years he has spent hours on end fly fishing the Henry’s Fork and surrounding waters. Mick & his wife Faye relocated to Ashton, Idaho after a 34 year career for the government. He has also worked as a professional rodeo cowboy, and a professional dog trainer. In addition to his fishing interests, he is an avid wing shooter. This is Mick's second year in the shop. He brings a wealth of fishing knowledge and excellent people skills with him. We are happy to have him on our team.
