Lawson’s Henry’s Fork Foam Stone
Mike Lawson developed this superb large stonefly pattern. It has great visibility, floats like a cork, sits low in the surface film, and is extremely effective even with the most finicky trout.It isn’t uncommon to see salmon flies and golden stones on the water at the same time. Sometimes we like to use a 2 fly rig with a salmonfly on top with a golden stone trailer.
