A Year Round Opportunity

Retail Store is Open Year Round

One of the most common questions we receive is…“when do you close the shop for the season?” We keep the shop open year round. Almost all of the water in our operating area is open year round with the exception of the Harriman Park, Upper Madison River, and Yellowstone Park. November is a wonderful time to fish the Henry’s Fork, Madison, Teton and South Fork. Most years the weather normally isn’t favorable for fishing in December and January. Things ramp back up in February and some of the best dry fly fishing of the year occurs in March, April and early May. We are open every day except Sunday from 9am to 5pm. We welcome you to give us a call, send us a message and especially stop in and visit with us. Several of our top fly fishing guides are also available during the off-season.

Another great opportunity at Henry’s Fork Anglers is we have some great deals. Most of our vendors discontinue some of their products at the end of the season. We also find ourselves overstocked with a variety of great products including flies after our autumn inventory. Keeping our store open through the winter season offers a great chance at some super deals.

Check our Website Often

Last year we built out a new website. It was a great undertaking. We didn’t have time to get the online store where we hoped it would be by the time the summer season was on us. Our primary has been on providing the most up-to-date fishing information through our fishing reports and blogs. We especially appreciate Todd Lanning’s fishing reports. Not only does he spend a lot of time at the computer but he also spends all of the time he can out on the water and communicating with our guides and customers to make sure our information is solid and up-to-date. It is a big challenge because we cover such a huge area including the Henry’s Fork, Madison, Yellowstone Park, Teton River and South Fork.

Online Store Offers Special Options and Great Deals

Now it’s time to get back to where we left off last June with our online store. We hope you’ll check it often as it will be continuing to change. We also offer the same deals with discontinued and overstocked inventory that is available in our retail store. It is also a great opportunity to find a gift for that hard to buy for angler in your life. We are especially pleased to offer some special sculpture by Dave Allred. We carried some of his exquisite work back in the 1980s until he took a two decade long hiatus from sculpture for personal reasons. He’s back and better than ever. You can also check out art by David Ruimsveld. Another great idea is a fly selection. Fly selections are also important for anglers who plan to visit Henry’s Fork Country. Mike Lawson also has a few limited edition versions of Spring Creeks with a fly he tied. It is also important to remember that this is the only place on the planet you can purchase a new autographed hardcover edition of Fly Fishing the Henry’s Fork. Mike will also be happy to personalize his books at your request.

If you don’t see what you are looking for, give us a call. We are here to help.
