Lawson’s Brown Drake Cripple
The Brown Drake is an important large mayfly on the Henry’s Fork, Silver Creek, the Gibbon and other rivers. It emerges in the evening hours and the trout can become very selective. You’ll need a good representation of the dun, emerger, cripple and spinner to be successful. This pattern developed by Mike Lawson is especially effective when the brown drakes are emerging.
